I International Research conference Cultural Transfer: History, Language, Society

Tomsk State University and the Working Group of the Association of Russian Higher Education Institutions “Global Universities” and the Conference of Rectors of Italian Universities (CRUI) are proud to announce open call for papers for the I International Research conference Cultural Transfer: History, Language, Society held under the aegis of the Russian-Italian Association. The Conference will be held on May 23-25, 2018 in Tomsk State University, Tomsk, Russia.

The topics of the Conference include (but are not limited to):

•  Comparative studies of literature, imagology, literary translation 

•  Comparative aspects of European languages; linguistic questions of cultural transfer, parallel corpora and dictionaries as a tool for preserving cultural heritage; cultural consequences of globalization and issues of language policy, reception and impact of linguistic theories
  

•  Historical and political comparative studies; international (first and foremost, Russian-Italian) historical and cultural links.

The working languages of the conference are Russian and English. Some sessions may be conducted in Italian (subject to prior approval by the organizing committee).

Participation fee is €30 (paid after receiving notification of acceptance), PhD students are exempt from participation fee.
